Brewers Fayre trials curry night

Whitbread brand Brewers Fayre is trialling a Thursday curry night at 32 of the brand's 131 sites.
Customers can choose from a range of seven curries developed with Anjali Pathak, third generation of the Pathak family, using Patak's finest spice blends.
Anjali Pathak said: "These curries are among the most popular in Britain and the spice mixes we have developed give them a real authentic flavour."
After 6.30pm on Thursdays for £6.99 customers can have a pint of Carling or a 16oz Pepsi, Diet Pepsi or R White's Lemonade and a choice of chicken korma, beef madras, chicken tikka masala, chicken jalfrezi, Kashmiri lamb rogan josh, chicken vindaloo and vegetable Goan curry. Sides include poppadoms, Bombay potatoes and saag aloo.
A value meal for two is £17, which includes two curries, poppadoms, three Indian sides and two drinks.
The curry nights are being promoted through leaflets in local newspapers circulated near trial sites, which offer a buy one get one curry free on curry nights.
