SIBA seeks entries for business awards

Entries are now being sought for the Society of Independent Brewers' (SIBA) annual brewing business awards.

Categories include best customer support, best business innovation, best green business and, new for 2010, the design award, which recognises the best designs for bottle labels, pump clips and point-of-sale.

SIBA has launched a new, dedicated members-only website that gives would-be entrants advice on taking part, from choosing the right award to submitting your entry.

SIBA chief executive Julian Grocock said: "The Business Awards have grown in credibility and stature, with the number of entries climbing every year.

"The new website will, we hope, make it easier for more brewers to enter and we look forward to seeing some new names on the shortlist later this year."

The awards are now in their fifth year, and are open to all SIBA full brewing members.

All entries should be in by August 31, and the 2010 winners will be revealed at a presentation evening in London on November 16.
