Encouraging uptake for Venners' tenancy stocktaking service

Stocktakers Venners has reported an "encouraging uptake" of around 500 for its dedicated tenancy division launched earlier this year.
The division is aimed at pubco and family brewer tenants and aims to ensure they get support across stocktaking, health & safety, compliance auditing, food safety and, via preferred accountancy partners, accounting services.
Approximately 500 are already using the group's stocktaking services, whilst still more are engaging the wider raft of services and enjoying the benefits.
"They are currently our only nominated partner for stocktaking in our tenanted division and have been integral in the development of systems used within our business," said Peter Lyne, head of retail solutions at Marston's Pub & Beer Companies
Scott Hulme, who was appointed director of tenancy for Venners at the start of the year, said: "The vast majority of pubco's and breweries are now trying their level best to support their tenants, and providing stock taking and accounting support is a key part of that process.
"Many new tenants are joining Venners as part of new tenancy agreements designed to ensure the ingoing tenant is given the necessary support for success, while other simply join us because our competitive comprehensive support offers the best value for money.
"This specialized focus has further improved our ability to specifically help both tenanted and managed house estates."
