Osborne asks for 'bright' Budget ideas
Chancellor George Osborne is inviting the British public - including licensees - to come up with ideas for next month's Budget.
A new online portal has been launched by the Treasury which allows anyone to post an idea or comment on current economic policy.
Osborne said: "I want to hear about your brightest and best ideas. Because next month's Budget will be all about growth.
"In particular I want to know what businesses, large and small, want from me."
Last week the industry stepped up its lobbying efforts by urging the government to cancel the duty escalator on March 23.
The Treasury is recommending that ideas are sent at least three weeks before the Budget.
