Fair Pint urges licensees to submit evidence to MPs

Anti-beer tie group Fair Pint has urged all licensees unhappy with their pubco to get in touch with the Business, Innovation & Skills Select Committee (BISC).
The Committee is due to meet again before the June 2011 deadline set for pubcos to reform their relationship with tenants — with a further report due in July 2011.
"Everyone who can't make a decent living out of their pubs, everyone who has been mislead by their pubco or brewer, everyone who has lost their homes and their livelihoods, must tell their story and give evidence to the select committee," said Fair Pint founding member Steve Corbett.
"This is possibly our last opportunity to convince the BISC and the coalition Government that the industry is in urgent need of change. We must not waste this opportunity."
Fair Pint has produced its own how to guide to help with responses to the committee.
