The Good Food Guide is opening nominations for its annual Restaurant of the Year awards on Monday (21 February).
The award recognises "culinary excellence" and good service and encourages people to nominate their favourite local pub or restaurant.
Entrants should be independently owned and use local produce.
Ten regional winners will be announced from the nomination process at the end of May with an overall winner crowned at a ceremony at Kings Place, London, on 23 June.
More than 25,000 members of the public nominated venues last year, which resulted in a win for the Swan at Southrop in Gloucestershire.
"Championing fresh, local produce and supporting great independent restaurants are at the heart of what The Good Food Guide does," said consuultant editor Elizabeth Carter.
"Our Restaurant of the Year awards are a great way of recognising and rewarding outstanding cooking and exemplary service, and they provide members of the public with a chance to have their say in finding the best the UK has to offer."
