Thwaites rewards top tenants

Lancashire-based brewer Daniel Thwaites has honoured its top tenants for the first time, with the launch of the Thwaites Awards for Excellence 2011.
It saw the licensees rewarded across a range of categories including the coveted prize of Pub of the Year.
Andrew Buchanan, director of pub operations at Thwaites said: "We're incredibly proud of the hard work and success of our licensees and this awards ceremony recognises those areas that matter most to our customers. This year the competition was fierce and the standards very high, which made the judging process extremely challenging.
