The BII is to hold five seminars this month to help explain the proposed changes to the Licensing Act.
The seminars, run in conjunction with Philip Kolvan QC, will take place from 13-17 June at venues in London, Leeds, Manchester, Birmingham and Bristol and BII are urging all licensees to attend.
Changes to the Licensing Act, due to go through Parliament as part of the Police Reform and Social Responsibility Bill , include the controversial late night levy and early morning restriction orders as well as granting authorities and local residents more power.
"These are a must-attend event — licensees need to be really up to speed with how these new changes affect them so we are urging people to book quickly as the tickets are going fast," said Derek Hall, BII business development & membership director.
Sessions will run from 2:15pm - 4:30pm and include plenty of time for questions and open discussion. Delegates can forward questions or potential agenda items in advance of the seminar.
Tickets cost £50 + VAT (£40 + VAT for BII members) or click here.
