A Wiltshire pub has reopened exactly one year after burning down.

The Beckford Arms in Tisbury burned down on 16 July last year in a blaze that required more than 50 firemen to get it under control.

The eight-bedroom Gerogian coaching inn has been thoroughly refurbished under the lead of co-owners Dan Brod, Charlie Luxton and Nick Jones of Soho House fame.

Former head chef Pravin Nayar has returned as head chef. The menu includes old favourites such as homemade pork pies with piccalilli and other bar snacks like deep fried rabbit legs.

Nayar will also smoke trout, game and Wiltshire ham in the new garden smoker and on Sundays customers will be able to order a whole chicken spit roasted on the bar's open fire to share and carve at the table.

There will be wines and ales on offer as well as ice lollies with apple juice for children and with Ashton Press cider for adults.
