Slug & Lettuce introduces favourites menu
Customer feedback indicated that 80% of respondents like to choose their favourite dishes and they enjoy getting regular deals throughout the week.
As a result, the food development team of the Stonegate Pub Company brand has selected customer favourites from its core menu and added seasonal specials to create the new menu.
It includes sausage & mash, haddock & chips as well as six new dishes such as steak & kidney pudding and a black & blue burger, which comprises a blue cheese, bacon and black pepper topping.
Slug sites already offer Happy Mondays (50% off food all day), Tikka Tuesdays (two for the price of one curries) and Two for One Cocktails (available at regular times throughout the week), and is introducing a Daily Deal from Tuesdays to Fridays.
Customers ordering the daily deal sandwich of the day will also receive a free drink from a selected range. The deal includes southern fried chicken wrap on Tuesdays, tuna melt on Wednesdays, barbeque chicken, cheese and bacon sandwich on Thursdays and fishfinger sandwich on Fridays.
“With this new Best of Slug menu our aim was to simplify the menu so that customers can make quick, informed decisions, can still choose their favourite dishes but have a regularly rotating handful of seasonal dishes to select from too,” said head of food development Perry Huntley.
“Our Happy Mondays promotion has proven such a phenomenal success for us we wanted to look at ways to introduce similarly great deals on other days throughout the week.”
