The Angel & Crown in St Martin’s Lane, Covent Garden, leased from Shaftesbury Estates, will open in early December.
The ground floor will operate as a traditional pub with the first floor featuring aninformal pub-dining room where reservations will be taken. There is space for 60 covers across the building.
The all-day menu offers seasonal British produce from select artisan producers, regional farmers and Billingsgate fish market.
“We are very much looking forward to establishing the Angel & Crown as a genuine gastropub — one that offers good food and good ale in a traditional pub setting,” co-founder Tom Martin said.
Earlier this year the group opened two venues, including Moorgate’s Chiswell Street Dining Rooms, and disposed of the Empress of India, in Victoria Park, east London.
In June the PMA revealed that the group was setting its sights on new openings in business areas in the capital.
