Punch reports record turnout at roadshows

Last year, Punch saw 45% of its tenants and lessees attend the nationwide events.
The roadshows, which bring together suppliers and industry representatives, are designed to help licensees benefit from deals, trade building ideas, support and impartial advice.
The shows began in Newcastle-upon-Tyne on 4 October and went on to Leeds, Twickenham, Birmingham, Chester, Bolton, Luton, Nottingham, Edinburgh, Exeter and Bristol.
The Chester roadshow was one of the biggest successes with 64% of tenants and lessees attending.
Punch Buying Club director Andy Slee said: “This year’s roadshows have been fantastic with six of the shows exceeding the attendance target of 50% and increasing orders. I’m thrilled that we’ve had an opportunity to bring so many of our partners together and provide a gateway to such a vast array of suppliers, top deals, industry representatives and support to enable them to grow sales.
“The feedback from partners has been really positive and suppliers saw an increase in quality partner engagement with more partners visiting who wanted to do business and grow their business. Three partners even came back to exhibit their own wares at the events this year, which demonstrates the value of the roadshows. We’re looking forward to hitting the road again next year.”
