New look and new taste for Hooch
Hooch’s Alcoholic Lemonade, the iconic 1990s ready-to-drink brand, is being re-released in the UK after a decade off the market.

Drinks distributor Global Brands signed a deal with owner Molson Coors for the rights to both Hooch and Reef last March.

Now called Hooch Alcoholic Lemon Brew, it has been remade with a new look and taste, said marketing director Simon Green. “We have made slight changes to the original recipe, making it 4% instead of 5% ABV and making it fruitier and more refreshing,” he said.

It will be aimed at both those who will remember the drink from its heyday in the ‘90s and a new generation of drinkers.
