100 Pubwatch schemes sign up to National Pubwatch mapping tool

The free facility allows local pubwatches to register their name, town/city and website, and the details will be searchable by the general public.
NPW is an umbrella organisation for the overall initiative, while schemes are set up locally by groups of licensees.
The aim of the new tool is to allow NPW to monitor the number of schemes in the country and improve the way that it communicates with local pubwatches. Local pubwatches will also benefit from direct access
to the services provided by NPW.
NPW chairman Steve Baker said: “We have had a strong response from local pubwatches to the mapping tool but I know that we have only just begun to scratch the surface, so we would urge other pubwatches to sign up. The map is also a great way to highlight the good work being done by local pubwatches across the UK.”
