Former darts world champions to appear at Great British Beer Festival

Bristow and Deller will attempt to beat the fastest 301 ever set in darts at the festival, which is being held at London Olympia this year.
The record was set in 1996 in a time of 36 seconds by pub games specialist Dean Gould who will join Bristow and Deller as he attempts to defend his record.
He will also participate in a new record to set the fastest 501, and attempt to break his own records in 180 and 360 degrees beer mat flipping.
As part of Bristow and Deller’s appearance at GBBF, the 2 ex-World Champions will be reinforcing the importance of pub games in efforts to save Britain’s valued community pubs.
“Eric and I are really looking forward to having a game of Darts at Olympia,” said Deller. “Over the last ten years real traditional games that are played in pubs and clubs are dying out, so both Eric and I really appreciate what CAMRA are trying to do to keep our great indoor games going which make our country great. We are really looking forward to Olympia and having a go at those records.”
