We closed at 2am this morning again. I seem to spending all my time rushing around at the moment. We had a good day's trade yesterday but not as busy as Sunday and Monday. Our main customers yesterday seemed to be the back of house staff.

We have had a lot of calls about functions and events - I think some people are preparing for the trip home already.

We have a few people coming in for an event from Eurovision TV tonight. Also one American tourist is coming in for her birthday. She said she has had such a wonderful time here and in this pub.

Another guy wanted to reserve a table for 16 for a group of pinbadge collectors. They are collecting pins from all the countries of the Olympics and they even trade them.

I am planning a little break today to meet up with some friends in Covent Garden as well as celebrate my husband's birthday. I have got some extra staff on and have the cover and we need to get away for a few hours.

I think we are going to have a really busy Sunday for the final ceremony. I had an email from that group of drummers from the opening ceremony and they are in the closing ceremony. There will be about 200 of them coming into the pub after the ceremony on Sunday so its likely to be a long night.
