I had a very pleasant day yesterday - I was out in Covent Garden last night but I know we were steady up until very late and then very busy after 10pm.

The pinbadge collectors came in to celebrate a birthday and a woman who goes to every Olympics also paid us a visit. She doesn’t always get tickets but she loves the atmosphere and being part of Olympic fever.

Quite a few helpers and ‘games-makers’ (support staff) came in and all in all we were very busy. The pub has just rung me and I’m picking up a few things they said they have run out of. Our delivery turned up on time last night though.

I am going over to the Orbit later so that will be nice - the weather looks good so hopefully the views will be pretty stunning.

Tonight should be another big night which we are gearing up for - we know it is going to be a late one again. It is the last four nights now and we don’t really know what to expect after that. It could well go very quiet.

It is going to be a whole new set of people after Sunday, as it will be the transition from the Olympics to the Paralympics. The ‘games-makers’ will be different as will the rest of the support staff.

However, I think the Paralympics will still be very good for us. There has been such an interest in the Olympics that people are now snapping up lots of tickets for the Paralympics.

I don’t think we will do anything special for the closing ceremony on Sunday. People have been calling us to say they will be coming in including the drummers who came after the opening ceremony and some LOCOG officials.

If it is the same as the opening ceremony, then I don’t think I will bother going to bed. I will just pump myself full of caffeine and to go to bed at normal time on Monday night.
