Thwaites pub gets accolade of Best Decorated Pub for Christmas
Thwaites has given licensees Grahame and Sue Nutt, from the Jacobs Well in Honley near Huddersfield the top accolade of Best Decorated Pub for Christmas 2012.

The husband and wife team have been running the pub since August 2012 and following a £35k investment with owners, Thwaites, they have transformed the local into a leading cask ale pub offering home cooked food.

Grahame said:  “We take great pride in ensuring the interior and exterior of the pub is inviting for customers. Christmas is a wonderful time of year and we were keen to ensure we created festive cheer for regulars and visitors alike. We’re delighted to have picked up the award especially in our first year with Thwaites.”

Andrew Buchannan, Thwaites director of pub operations, said: “With their fantastic decorations Grahame and Sue have done an outstanding job turning the Jacob Wells into a winter wonderland and so we were keen to recognise their efforts. The friendly and inviting atmosphere paired with a great offering will ensure that customers will enjoy the festive season and beyond.”

Thwaites has  decorated its Christmas Cards with festive pictures of the Jacobs Well.
