Two brands have joined the line-up of prestigious sponsors of this year’s BT Sport Great British Pub Awards.The awards, organised by the Publican’s Morning Advertiser (PMA), celebrate the achievements of single-site pubs.

The winners will be announced at an awards ceremony on 12 September at the Hilton on Park Lane in central London.
Energy drink Monster Energy is supporting the Best Managed Pub award.

The brand, which launched in the UK on-trade in 2009, is stocked by managed operators including JD Wetherspoon, Novus Leisure, SA Brain, Mitchells & Butlers and Punch Taverns. It was ranked in the top 25 soft drinks in the PMA’s Brands Report 2013.

New soft drink ZEO, which launched this summer, and is the first brand offering from Freedrinks, is supporting the Best Food Pub award.  

The awards will be presented by Greg Davies, star of E4’s The Inbetweeners. The ceremony will see 18 awards presented in categories including Best Freehouse, Best Cellar, Best Cask Beer Pub, Best Entertainment Pub, Best Wine Pub and Best Spirits Pub.

Other sponsors of the awards are Heineken, Stella Artois, Diageo, Innserve, Britvic Soft Drinks, Greene King, Admiral Taverns, Enterprise Inns, Punch Taverns, JTI and the BII (British Institute of Innkeeping).

BT Sport, the new sports channel from BT, is title sponsor of the awards.
