Launched four years ago, CPL Online counts a number of drinks suppliers and pub companies as customers.
The courses range from standard compliancy training, to bespoke training for customers with specific requirements. All of its courses are fully interactive and they include videos, audio and games.
David Dasher, managing director of CPL Online, said reaching 500,000 training courses was an amazing milestone for the company.
“While we recognised there was a definite gap in the market for a dynamic and technology-driven online training provider, we didn’t expect this level of demand.”
According to Dasher, awareness of the CPL business began initially with the company’s traditional core customer base – the licensing trade – before growing organically.
“Diversification continued fairly quickly thereafter, and we now operate across almost all sectors. Typically, we now deliver around 20 courses for each client, many of whom approached us initially with a single one-off project.
"We’re all incredibly proud of our achievements and are already working our way towards the one million mark."
