The site will be unveiled at Geronimo pub the Phoenix in Victoria, central London, on Monday (12 May).
It is designed to help visitors find a pub close to the area or landmark that they are visiting, and features a range of visitor attractions under the headlines: Heritage, Culture, Countryside, Sport and Music.
According to the campaign, visiting a pub is the third most popular activity for overseas visitors, with four out of 10 heading to a watering hole at some point during their stay.
Key tourist attraction
BBPA chief executive Brigid Simmonds said: “Pubs have so much to offer tourism in Britain — for overseas visitors and all of us who increasingly have holidays at home, so it is wonderful that they are now taking their place in this campaign alongside Britain’s other key attractions.”
The drive is part of the GREAT Britain initiative, led by the Government, VisitBritain and UK Trade & Investment. It promotes Britain abroad, both as a place to invest in, and to visit.
