Due to demand the closing date for entries to the awards, organised by the Publican’s Morning Advertiser, has been extended.
There are 17 categories open for entry, which are suitable for all different types of pub. These include two new categories – Best Cider Pub/Bar and Best Pub Loos.
The winners will be announced at a glittering awards ceremony on 12 September at London’s Hilton on Park Lane.
Being shortlisted as a finalist has a range of benefits including driving extra trade to your business, generating excellent PR for the pub, giving your team a well-deserved pat on the back and helping attract quality staff to work for you.
As Tom Gee, owner of the Red Lion at Cricklade, Wiltshire and winner of the Great British Pub of the Year 2013 says: “For people in your business it makes them proud and empowered. It is very good for the team.
It has also been fantastic in raising awareness of the business. I would definitely recommend entering.”
