The blueberry, cranberry and raspberry mixed drink is designed to add an alternative to the citrus flavour base of the current range.
Zeo said the drink would be 45 calories, the same as their other low calorie drinks – saying the health conscious consumer does not want a high calorie drink. Zeo also plans to promote the drink as a base mixture for alcoholic cocktails.
Mark Young, chief executive of Freedrinks Ltd, which produces Zeo, said: “The launch of ZEO Berryz follows the success of the current range and is the latest step towards our wider growth plans for the brand. With our current variants doing so well across the trade and consumers enjoying the complexity and depth of flavour in ZEO, we wanted to broaden our customer base by creating a flavour that is sweeter in taste.”
