Cornwall-based Sharp’s Brewery is set to re-launch Red Ale beer.

The limited release beer will be available in on-trade outlets across South-East and South-West England from 8 September to 17 November, while stocks last.

The brewery says Red Ale "masters the ideal balance between the pale and citrus beers of summer and the full, sweet and warming beers of winter".

Stuart Howe, director of brewing at Sharp’s, said: “While at Sharp’s we like to experiment with new beer flavours and recipes, we also like to ensure we’re giving people the beers they love most. Red Ale has proven extremely popular with consumers when we’ve launched it previously, so we’re excited to be bringing it back again for the third year.

"Red Ale is a punchy beer, with dry roasted coffee flavours and a powerful zesty finish. We’re confident our customers will once again love this truly unique autumn brew."

Red Ale is the fourth in a series of limited release beers this year in celebration of Sharp’s 20th anniversary.
