Craft Beer Co, Laine Pub Company and Glendola bosses among MA300 Brighton speakers

The man behind Enterprise Inns’ first managed site, the founder of Craft Beer Co and some of the brightest lights in the Brighton pub scene are among the speakers at next week’s MA300.

The event, to be held at Brighton’s Grand Hotel on Thursday 25 September, is the final seminar of the year for the PMA’s multiple operator club.

Speakers include Ashley Halliday, from Tyler Towers, who provided marketing support for the launch of the St James’ of Bemondsey – Enterprise Inns’ first directly managed site. He share his insights into creating a buzz.

Martin Hayes, founder and managing director of Craft Beer Co will also be on hand to talk about the future for the craft beer movement. The prospect for craft beer outside of London will also be tackled by Simon Buckley, of Evans-Evans. Lee Price, the current BII Licensee of the Year and manager of the Royal Pier in Aberystwyth, will talk about the challenges of seaside trading.

Alex Salussolia, managing director of Waxy O’Connor’s operators Glendoal, will talk about diversification while TCG operations manager Ben Levick will give a presentation on making technology work.

There will also be insight into the particular challenges and rewards of the vibrant Brighton pub scene with Gavin George of the Laine Pub Company sharing his experiences and a panel discussion featuring licensee Peter Wilson and Ben McKellar of the gastro pub chain Gingerman.
