North-east London craft beer pub and Beavertown Brewery owner Logan Plant is eyeing sites for expansion and has plans to add a large second American BBQ focused site under his ‘Dukes’ brand as well as a wet-led Beavertown tap house.

“We have been looking for a second Duke’s site” but finding “3000sqft minimum in the right area of London is like a needle in a haystack,” Plant told ThePublican's Morning Advertiser.

Plant explained that for Beavertown Brewery, the aim is to also “open a wet led Beaver Tap house supported by a real simple Duke’s offering” and would “preferably” like to find somewhere “in the east end, Hackney or Bethnal Green” area to maintain a sense of “keeping true to our roots.”

Dalston-based Dukes Brew & Que, which offers a beer range that centres on the UK and USA craft brewing scene to complement its rub and wood smoke food concept, began as the home and tap house of Beavertown Brewery.

Beavertown beers were initially brewed on site, before the brewer expanded and moved to its new premises in Tottenham Hale this year.
