American-style cloudy cider Lazy Jack's gets its first campaign

A classic American Chevy will be travelling around the UK this winter, as part of the first campaign for Lazy Jack’s, the US-style cloudy apple cider, aimed at 22 to 30 year-old consumers.

The Halewood International-owned brand was launched in April this year at Grillstock, the barbecue and music festival.

Activity will include sampling, outdoor posters and a PR drive featuring brand ambassador DJ BBQ, centring around US events such as Thanksgiving (today, 27 November) and Independence Day (4 July).

A social media campaign and online advertising, also form part of the campaign, and in the on-trade kits comprising wooden bottle openers, posters, rubber gutter mats and drip mats will be distributed to stockists.

“Following a number of major listings (including Punch Taverns and Flaming Grill) we believe it is the right time to launch an above-the-line campaign in order to broaden the exposure of the brand with consumers in the lead-up to Christmas,” said brand manager Alex Kennedy.
