Available in individual 120ml tubs or in 4.75ltr Napoli tubs for scooping, the producer said the new flavour combines the “indulgent creamy texture” of double cream with an “intense coconut note” interspersed with dark Belgian chocolate shavings.
New Forest claimed that the coconut and Belgian chocolate ice cream flavours complement the vibrant citrusy notes of key lime pie or the indulgent taste of gooey homemade chocolate brownies.
The new flavour further extends its extensive range of ice creams and sorbets, which already includes more than 50 different flavours and varieties.
Made using real coconut, the gluten and nut free ice cream is also suitable for vegetarians and does not contain any artificial colours or preservatives.
New Forest Ice Cream director Christina Veal believed the new coconut and Belgian chocolate flavour will liven up any dessert offering.
She said: “The all new Coconut and Dark Belgian Chocolate ice cream is a delectable combination of rich and vibrant flavours, offering a touch of sophisticated elegance with an exciting kick.
“Our enthusiastic team has worked hard to create a great tasting product, ensuring that the creamy undertones are harmoniously infused with the texture of the ice cream.”
Veal added: “The charm of this exotic new flavour combined with the sweetness of coconut and a smooth finish makes this a hit with all ages.”
