Rob Gibson, who joined Lincat in 1999 and has spent his full career in the catering industry, will be responsible for managing the growth of the company’s UK sales team, supporting its network of distributors and working with Lincat’s marketing team to build brand awareness.
He said: “In a sector that can be obsessed with price, it’s important that we continue to set ourselves apart by adding ever greater value for our customers.
“This is why, at the start of 2015, we decided to reorganise our regional sales teams and recruit another two members of field sales staff, to ensure more comprehensive coverage across the UK.”
Also appointed was sales office supervisor Matthew Sanders, who has been given the task of further improving the company’s customer service.
Rob added: “Lincat is committed to offering high-quality customer service and being progressive in new product development – this very much matches what I feel is important for an equipment manufacturer in our industry and it’s why I have stayed with the business for so many years.”
