Four pub chefs competing in BBC's Great British Menu 2015

Eggleton said: “Doing Great British Menu is a brilliant experience and really hard work at the same time.
“The WI was a really interesting subject and I really got into researching their recipes and history.”
Other pub chefs taking part this year include Eve Townson of the Eagle & Child, Ramsbottom, Lancashire and Mini Patel, head chef of the Pointer, Brill, Bucks.
Contestants on the show first face off in regional heats, with the winners of those heats going on to battle for their dishes to be included in a final banquet.
Both Eggleton and Chapman performed in the show’s 2014 regional heats, but came respectively third and second behind Emily Watkins, chef/patron of Oxfordshire gastropub the Kingham Plough.
Great British Menu veterans taking part in the judging process throughout this season include Tom Kerridge, Sat Bains, chef owner of Restaurant Sat Bains, Nottingham and Daniel Clifford, chef owner of Midsummer House, Cambridge.
Eggleton added: “It was great cooking alongside fantastic chefs from the South West and our surprise judge was a great moment which hopefully will translate as well on the show.”
BBC Great British Menu hits screens later this year.
Previous winners
Emily Watkins and James Durrant, chef owner of the Plough Inn, Longparish, came out on top, with Watkins' fish dish and Durrant's main course featuring in the final meal, which was served at a D-Day anniversary banquet where prime minister David Cameron was a special guest.
