Nina Bakery uses slow-food values to make its stone oven baked pitas, which are produced with no preservatives or additives.
One of the firm’s ‘centrepiece’ products is its cocktail pita, which has been designed specifically for appetizers, tapas and cocktail hors d’oeuvres. The cocktail pita is 6cm long.
Nina Bakery’s chief executive Pierre Nemeh said: “Today there are many quickly produced products which just don’t taste the same because they are mass produced as simply as possible. That’s why we have returned to traditional methods – the resultant taste is just so much better.
“Because of the bake quality and because they do not tear easily, Nina’s pita breads are perfect for sandwich fillings,” he added. “Our products, which are of restaurant quality, are perfectly suited to industry and retail food outlets.”
