Sky and BT Sport have revealed their live Premier League TV fixtures for December and the extended festive period.

Both broadcasters will show some huge top-flight clashes over Christmas and New Year which should help pubs attract extra footfall.

Boxing Day features a feast of football with three big games: Stoke v Manchester United (Sky), Newcastle v Everton (BT Sport) and Southampton v Arsenal (BT Sport).

Other highlights include:

Arsenal v Manchester City - 21 December (Sky)

Manchester United v Chelsea - 28 December (BT Sport)

Leicester City v Manchester City - 29 December (BT Sport)

Crystal Palace v Chelsea – 3 January (Sky)

David Rey, managing director of Sky Business, said: “This season has already been hugely exciting and with the live matches coming up on Sky Sports, fans in pubs are in for even more of a treat. Sky Sports has already shown the biggest matches this season and as we look forward to the busy December and New Year period, there’s so much for our pub customers to look forward to.”

Bruce Cuthbert, director commercial customers, BT Sport, said: “Christmas is a busy season for licensees and once again we have a feast of football for people to enjoy in their local pub or club. We will be showing top quality football with title challengers and UEFA Champions League contenders playing throughout including the Boxing Day double header.”
