Both broadcasters will show some huge top-flight clashes over Christmas and New Year which should help pubs attract extra footfall.
Boxing Day features a feast of football with three big games: Stoke v Manchester United (Sky), Newcastle v Everton (BT Sport) and Southampton v Arsenal (BT Sport).
