Seafood specialist Young’s For Chefs has revealed its new premium Scottish salmon fillet in sweet chilli and ginger butter sauce.
It can be cooked from frozen and has been designed for use as a main course or to be added to specials boards, the firm said.
Each fillet is individually wrapped with its sauce, which helps prevent wastage as well as improving portion control.
Garry Roche, foodservice sales director, said: “The new quality fillets offer the perfect alternative to fresh salmon and as the fillets can be cooked from frozen they are ideal for outlets cooking to order who don’t want to compromise on quality.”
