Are YOU marketing a Drink of the Day?

In the lead up to Christmas, as we count down (advent calendar style) towards the 25th, the opportunity for pubs to identify a ‘drink of the day’ with an ‘advent of drinks’ is upon us.

I’m hopeful that as many pubs and bars are taking advantage of this already and flagging up suggestions each day beneath the numerical date.

People are always​ interested in recommendations.

This week, the idea has already been suggested that pubs do this for #TryJanuary too. Giving us all more reasons to talk to people about the drinks available both on the front of their bars as well as behind them on the back bar or hiding in the fridges.

What you need to do

Chalk up your drinks for each day now.

Give them a good push for the festive season and for #TryJanuary next month.

Even if this means delegating this job to a member of your team, it’s better to know you took advantage of an opportunity than regretting to acknowledge it at all.
