Video: CCTV shows man attack pub with pole after being kicked out

A customer who was allegedly kicked out of a pub returned with a 5ft pole and unleashed a barrage of attacks to the doors.

CCTV footage shows the man, who was reportedly kicked out of the Bantam Cock pub in Northampton earlier that night, sprint to the venue and strike the front four times before fleeing.

Security staff moved into the building with only a moment to spare before the man hails his attack onto the pub’s doors and windows.

The incident occurred at 1:30am on February 21st and Northampton Police has appealed to any witnesses for information.

A spokesman said: "The man was reportedly asked to leave the Bantam Cock Public House, Abington Square, Northampton, on Sunday, 21 February.

“At around 1.30am he allegedly returned with a wooden pole and hit the glass panel on the front door causing windows to smash. The man then ran off."
