AB InBev's Camden Town Brewery is due to launch its limited-edition summer lager, Strawberry Hells Forever, next month (August).

The beer will be a take on the brewery's Hells lager with the addition of hand-picked, young British strawberries.

From plant to pint, the small batch lager has a tart, crisp and refreshing flavour with Mosaic, Simcoe and Perle hops, pilsner and wheat malts, and a sessionable ABV of 4.65%.

Fruit for the brew was picked by the whole Camden team in the strawberry fields of Essex with the event being used as inspiration for the bottle illustration, which was designed by London-based artist, Jay Cover.

Presented in 500ml glass bottles, Strawberry Hells Forever will be offered on tap across Camden’s bar estate - the brewery bar, The Horseshoe and Camden's Daughter and online from retailer Ales By Mail from Monday, 1 August.

Prior to launch, the brewery will deliver a series of 'Camden Shout' nights at pubs and bars across London where customers will be invited to 'drink the first keg dry' for free.

Jasper Cuppaidge, founder of Camden Town Brewery, said: “We have so much fun making Strawberry Hells Forever.

"From the great day out picking strawberries with the whole team, to kicking back in the sun enjoying it later in the summer, this special take on our favourite lager truly encapsulates summer and Camden for us.”
