Brewdog nears 50 sites with Southampton opening

It follows openings in Norwich this year – with a further three international sites in Warsaw, Malmo and Hong Kong. It will be followed by BrewDog Berlin in October, and BrewDog York before the end of the year.
18 different draft lines
The latest venue will offer 18 different draft lines alongside a large bottle collection. Locally sourced brews will sit alongside BrewDog's core range such as Punk IPA, the lager Kingpin and Dead Pony Club. A pizza offer will be provided from a traditional brick-oven.
BrewDog co-founder, James Watt said: “Southampton has been on our radar for a while – we’ve been keeping a close eye on the city and its burgeoning craft beer scene. The city already has some incredible local breweries, and the new bar offers a platform for us to share our relentless passion for amazing craft beer. Our new team in Hampshire is raring to go, and we can’t wait to shake up the Southampton craft world.
'Break new borders'
“Later this month, we will once again break new borders with our first German offering in Berlin, and we’re not stopping there.
"We’re turning our back on the traditional template for bars and venues, and giving beer fans a new way to enjoy all that is craft. Our bars are leading the way, stay tuned for plenty more like it very soon.”
