Lincoln Green Brewing Company is to add two new pubs to its portfolio over the next four months bringing the total number to four.

The Nottinghamshire-based micro-brewery will open the Lord Clyde in Kimberley before Christmas and The Station Hotel in Hucknall in February 2017.

Both sites will be refurbished and fashioned as ‘proper pubs’ offering a ‘haven for real ale drinkers’ and people seeking pubs with ‘traditional values’.

Listening

Husband and wife team Anthony and Lynette, who also operate The Robin Hood and Little John in Arnold and The Sir John Borlase Warren at Canning Circus in Nottingham, said they had adopted a ‘we’re listening’ approach to pubs.

“It’s important to us to listen to the needs of our customers and ensure that our pubs fit in with the community,” Anthony said.

“We invite our future customers at The Lord Clyde and The Station Hotel to let us know what they want from their new Lincoln Green pubs – and we’ll do what we can to make that happen.”

The business will recruit bar staff at The Lord Clyde and a management couple and full team at The Station Hotel.
