Britvic’s J₂O Spritz aired on TV screens for the first time yesterday (14 November) as part of a £1m festive campaign.

The ‘playful’ ad, which aims to position the drink as a party beverage for adults ahead of the festive season, is running for six weeks across ITV, Channel 4, Channel 5 and ITV2.

Sandwiched between popular programmes including X Factor, I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! and Gogglebox, the commercial showcases the core J2O range as well as the carbonated spritz collection in Apple & Watermelon, Peach & Apricot and Pear & Raspberry flavours.

“We can’t wait to bring one of our most iconic brands back to TV screens around the UK,” Kevin McNair, GB marketing director at Britvic Soft Drinks said.

“The ad has been created to grab the attention of adult consumers with its subtle humour in order to drive sales in the run-up to Christmas – the brand’s biggest selling period.

The advert, which is based on inflatables at a pool party, can be viewed in full below.
