The Crown Inn occupies a prime site opposite the War Memorial in Lewes town centre. ln addition to the many local attractions within the historic county town, which include Lewes Castle, Harvey's Brewery and Anne of Cleves House, it is also ideally situated for visitors to Glyndebourne, which typically runs between May and August and now has an ever-expanding calendar of events throughout the year. This substantial and historic former Coaching Inn is one of the oldest coaching houses in Lewes, parts of which are believed to date back to 1610. Nick Earee from Fleurets said: "I am delighted to be instructed to deal with this imposing and substantial property that provides extensive accommodation to include 12 letting bedrooms."
