Butcombe Brewery has announced it is automatically enrolling its tenants into the British Institute of Innkeeping (BII), for free.

The company has signed up all 14 of its operators, giving them free access to the BII’s 24-hour licensing and legal support lines, as well as access to BII discounts on services, such as insurance and card machines.

The managing director of UK pubs at Butcombe, Jayson Perfect, said the access to BII services would help Butcombe tenants to “build better businesses”.

Butcombe said it automatically enrolled most licensees into membership last Friday (2 June), while tenants already subscribed to the BII will be automatically re-enrolled as and when their current BII subscriptions end.

Growing membership

BII chief executive Mike Clist said he was “delighted” to welcome BII tenants to the institute.

“It is a testament to the quality and range of benefits we offer that our membership base continues to grow,” Clist added.
