Lone Wolf spirits, the distillery of UK craft beer brewery BrewDog, has launched its own tonic water and canned gin and tonic (G&T).

The distillery, which produces gin and vodka, has unveiled its own branded tonic water in 150ml cans and a bar-strength G&T in 330ml cans.

Mexican pink grapefruit

The tonic is made from Mexican pink grapefruit and natural quinine, and is designed to be used in Lone Wolf mixed drinks or as an accompaniment to other gins. It is for sale at a price of £4 for eight cans.

The canned G&T is one part gin to four parts tonic and comes in at an ABV of 8.8%, and retails at £3 per can.

Lone Wolf was first launched by BrewDog in April 2017, three years after announcing plans to enter the category.

Distillation on-site

BrewDog claimed that the brand would “put the craftsmanship back into spirits”, while head distiller Steven Kersley lambasted the production process used by other producers as “lazy” and “characterless”.

Every aspect of Lone Wolf’s spirit production is managed on-site – including the distillation of its base spirit – from its distillery situated in Ellon, Aberdeenshire

LoneWolf Tonic and LoneWolf G&T launch today (22 September) on the BrewDog online shop and in all BrewDog Bars.
