Wadworth pubs group has given a summer makeover to its pub websites.

All 55 of the West Country operator’s managed pub websites have been restyled to make it easier to navigate for returning and regular customers.

The investment cost the company circa £55,000 in total and was undertaken in a bid to increase the effectiveness of the digital presences of its sites.

Each pub has its own individual design, with new features including online table booking, gallery pages for food and accommodation, events pages and news.

Accessibility

Changes include improving the accessibility of up-to-date menus, providing online visitors with more information on the different areas within the pubs, and high-quality photographs.

The revamp has given customers the option to book accommodation online or directly with the individual venue, where exclusive offers are often available.

Wadworth chief executive Chris Welham said the new websites mean that each pub can be represented in the best light to potential customers and regulars.

He said: “We have a fantastic selection of high-quality pubs in the West Country and these new websites really show off what they have to offer to local and international visitors.

"It's imperative that the websites showcase what’s on offer in a simple and interactive way and our new sites do just that.”
