Bar brand All Bar One has launched a sustainable beer and cider menu to meet customers’ desires to order from environmentally friendly suppliers.

Bar brand All Bar One has launched a sustainable beer and cider menu that it says stocks suppliers that help the environment.

The introduction reflects the growing interest from customers in the origins of and ethics behind the production of their drinks, the chain said.

Named ‘All the Better with Beer’, the menu contains four beers and three ciders.

All Bar One senior marketing manager Laura Clarke said it was important for bar-goers to be able to choose from brands that promoted environmentally friendly habits.

She said: “While taste is an incredibly important factor for our customers when choosing a beer or cider, they also want to know where it’s come from and how it’s been produced.

“Now, more than ever, our customers are actively looking for brands that seek to make a positive impact on the world – whether that’s finding a way to reduce plastic, decrease waste or provide clean water for communities.

“With that in mind, we’ve decided to launch a new dedicated menu of sustainable beers and ciders to help our customers support a more sustainable future.”

The brand – which has 56 bars across the UK – promoted the new menu with models covered in moss outside its site in Leicester Square.

It includes craft ale Brewgooder, which donates 100% of its profits to fund clean drinking water projects with the aim of providing 1m people with clean drinking water by 2025.

It also features Corona Extra because of the brand’s commitment to clean up 1m square metres of UK beaches, and Camden Hells, which donates its spent grain to local farmers for cattle feed.

Cider fans visiting the bars can order drinks from brands including Pip & Wild, which recycles all waste material, and Mortimers Orchid Cider that only uses apples grown within 50 miles of its mills.

There will be an offer of free nachos on Thursdays when customers order three beers or ciders from the new menu.
