BT Sport is offering an early bird discount for the pay-per-view screening of the sold-out boxing clash between Tyson Fury and Dillian Whyte on Saturday 23 April.

The bout, which is the first all-British heavyweight world title fight to take place in the UK since 1993, is available for sector sites to buy through BT Sport Box Office and could be just the tonic for getting late business through the door as the ring walk is expected to take place at about 10pm while the undercard coverage starts at 7pm.

The fight for the heavyweight WBC belt takes place at Wembley Stadium meaning licensees in the UK can take advantage of earlier start times than if it were in the US.

First heavyweight world title fight since 1993

It will be Fury’s first bout on UK soil since 2018 and the first all-British heavyweight world title fight since Lennox Lewis beat Frank Bruno in Cardiff in 1993. Fury, unbeaten through 32 professional fights, will be defending his WBC world heavyweight title against Dillian ‘The Body Snatcher’ Whyte. Whyte with a 28-2 professional boxing record is challenging for a world title for the first time in his career.

Fury cemented his legacy as one of the all-time heavyweight greats in his last fight as the Englishman knocked out American Deontay Wilder in the 11th round of their trilogy bout in Las Vegas. Whyte will be looking to spoil The Gypsy King’s homecoming event after finally getting a world title shot off the back of an impressive run of form that includes wins against Robert Helenius, Joseph Parker and Alexander Povetkin.

Priced on rateable value of pubs

Price bands to screen the fight are based on rateable value, providing a discount structure to ensure that all pubs – big and small – can show the action. By purchasing early, BT Sport customers will get an extra 15% early bird discount (which closes on 14 April at 11.59pm), saving up to £144 when compared to non-BT Sport customers.
