The Brewery Arms, which is part of the multiple operator’s community and wet-led Proper Pubs division, welcomed customers back on Friday 9 June after undergoing a complete transformation.
Inside, the pub, situated on Chester Steet in Saltney, has benefitted from new flooring and furniture throughout as well as a new bar, darts board and pool table while the venue’s outdoor area has been upgraded with a new all-weather courtyard and state-of-the-art televisions as well as new seating.
Amazing feedback
The opening night saw customers enjoy live music performances on both the Friday and Saturday (10 June) evenings.
Brewery Arms operator Warren Kelly said: “Opening night was fantastic, it was amazing to see all our customers, old and new, coming to see what the pub has to offer.
“The feedback we received from our community was amazing, and we can’t wait to see them again soon.”
Kelly added he was also looking forward to hosting special events for the local football club, as well as running regular charity events to raise money for the area’s foodbank and to have a lifesaving defibrillator installed.
Community hub
The pub has also planned to host regular live music evenings, including a DJ and karaoke sessions, as well as the reintroduction of pool, darts and dominos teams.
Complimenting the Brewery Arm’s new look, the pub boasts a wide range of drinks, including cocktails and wine, as well as a full sports package of Sky Sports, BT Sports and horse racing.
Proper Pubs operations director Matthew Gurney said: “The refurbishment at the Brewery Arms looks fantastic – the team has worked really hard to ensure it is a success for the local community.
“On behalf of the Proper Pubs team, we would like to wish our community hero, Warren, every success for the future in making the Brewery Arms a fantastic hub of the community.”
