Molson Coors has sold its stake in Tradeteam, the UK drinks logistics business, to global logistics firm DHL Supply Chain for an undisclosed sum.

DHL has been the primary stakeholder in Tradeteam since 1995, managing the business on a day-to-day basis in partnership with Molson Coors.
In a statement released today, DHL said: “Having reviewed their respective strategic objectives, the partners have decided that it was an appropriate time to complete the transition of the company from its origins as an in-house distribution department of Bass Brewers (since acquired by Molson Coors) to a fully independent drinks logistics specialist.
“Tradeteam became a 100% owned part of DHL Supply Chain effective at the end of December 2013.”
Tradeteam operates across 29 sites in the UK, with over 450 vehicles and 1,700 employees making more than 20,000 deliveries per week to pubs, clubs, restaurants, hotels and retailers. Its customers include brewers, brand owners, pub companies and wholesalers.
