A new burger being introduced to menus at BrewDog venues and London chain Honest Burgers has so much craft beer in the recipe, customers will need to prove their age before ordering.

The BrewBurger, available at all Honest Burgers restaurants from 3 March until 2 April, is the brainchild of BrewDog co-founder James Watt and Honest Burgers co-founder Tom Barton. The burger will also be available at BrewDog venues on selected dates.

The 150g aged beef patty comes with Comté cheese and bacon candied with BrewDog’s 5AM Saint amber ale. It’s then topped with beef dripping and onions fried in BrewDog’s flagship Punk IPA and a barbecue reduction made from BrewDog’s Paradox cask-aged Imperial Stout.

BrewDog has also developed a bottled beer, Bourbon Baby, to complement the taste notes of the BrewBurger, with the two served as a package for £15.

BrewDog's James Watt said: “It’s the first time a burger has come with an ABV, which is pretty cool.”
