The MA Beer Report 2025 is your ultimate guide to the latest in the beer world for the on-trade.

This annual reprisal, which is completely free to access, comprises extensive coverage of The Morning Advertiser’s exclusive Pint Price survey data; statistics and expert opinion from NIQ, powered by CGA intelligence; insight from trade bodies and operators; plus a host of infographics and information on different beer types.

The MA Beer Report, which is sponsored by Greene King, looks across the gamut of beer including all the volume and values sales data to help you procure your ideal range in low & no, ales, stout, lager and craft beer – and most of these are also broken down into sub categories too.

The Pint Price survey from The MA is used to show the average price of specific brands of beer across Great Britain – this split between England and its regions, Wales and Scotland.

NIQ account director Charlie Booth talks at length about each category, backed up with data from its ongoing data collection services. He examines the categories and compares what is happening now very figures from the previous year and two years ago.

Emma McClarkin, CEO of the British Beer & Pub Association, and Society of Independent Brewers (SIBA) CEO Andy Slee have both made contributions in terms of comment on the current on-trade situation in the report.

Senior reporter Rebecca Weller examines how movement in innovation has come from such a hard-pressed scenario as cost pressures continue to batter the industry.

Additionally, last year’s winners of the Best Beer Pub in the Great British Pub Awards – Blind Jack’s – tell us about their amazing beer offer, the trends they are seeing and the demographic of customers they are seeing come through the door.
