The Drinks List 2026

Welcome to The MA Drinks List: Top Brands to Stock in 2026.

In this report, you can see our annual data that charts the top 10 brands for a multitude of drinks categories – and it won’t cost you a penny.

In association with CGA by NIQ, the data in this feature will give you a detailed breakdown for volume and value sales for the 12 months up to October 2025 and there’s also information on how each of the top 10 brands fared in 2024 – if they are still in that elite division of 10.

While last year’s iteration of the Drinks List largely consisted of negative numbers following a big bounce back post-Covid, this year’s is a real mixed bag and, although not every category has brands in growth, there is certainly much hope and that means you may be able to get a better bang for your buck as an operator.

A genuine success story, which was definitely the case last year as well, is the low & no alcohol beer sector. The data shows there has been a change in the top brand and that is for both volume and value sales. However, more than half of the brands listed have enjoyed a better 12 months than a year ago.

Meanwhile, wine and a few of the spirits division have struggled. It is by no means a disaster but it makes for very interesting reading with many of the brands still holding their positions on their respective leaderboards but they have seen declines.

The cask ale division has suffered somewhat too but the top six have all switched places so you’ll have to click through to find out who’s on top.

To access all this information, all you have to do is fill in some details on the webpage and access will be granted free of charge.

* All data provided by CGA by NIQ is for the 12 months to 4 October 2025 with additional data for 2024 also from CGA by NIQ.
